• Helped a cohort of 8 students find organizations related to their chosen social issues and drafted emails for local partnerships to build student’s organizational and advocacy skills.

• Located scholarly and literary works on students’ chosen social issues to have them develop foundational knowledge that guides their problem-solving propositions.

• Led interactive presentations for high school students on NYC’s anti-discrimination laws to strengthen their knowledge of legal protections.

• Guided students in executing an ethical and intersectional service-based project by leveraging knowledge of feminist methodology.

• Collaborated with peers on ‘Project 1424’ with ExpandED Schools and Here to Here to identify gaps within the NYC DYCD Summer Youth Employment Program.

• Advocated for open-access data transparency and collection for NYC DYCD that would help them to strengthen their target demographics for work-based learning.

• Proposed that the public dissemination of work-based learning resources would help low-income families and students access work-based learning opportunities.
